We often get asked how we met, due to the distance between us. The answer is simple: like many modern romances, we connected through a dating app fall of 2022. Mark immediately caught Heidi's attention with a thoughtful message, and conversation flowed effortlessly from there. We discovered our shared interests in the outdoors, travel, family, and faith. After weeks of chatting, we felt it was time to meet in person and decided to meet at a local bar near Heidi's home, as we wanted a low-key first date. We had a fun evening playing darts and getting to know one another better. From that point on, our connection deepened; we took our first trip together, met each others friends and family, and began attending church to grow in our faith as a couple. On June 26, 2024, while admiring a beautiful sunset together, Mark proposed and Heidi was thrilled to say "Yes"!
